Services
Our Patrol Division provides road patrol services and handles all initial investigations. We have a well trained staff of road patrol officers that perform a variety of duties. Some of the officers work as evidence technicians, accident investigators, defensive tactics instructors, driving instructors, and firearms instructors. Most officers are emergency medical technicians that can provide immediate emergency medical treatment to our citizens.
Always remember we are here 24 hours a day 365 days a year to serve you and to assure the safety of our city.
Other services provided by the Patrol Division:
- Child safety seat inspections - By appointment only through the day shift patrol sergeant
- Vacation house checks - If you are going on vacation and would like your property inspected daily please contact our dispatch center
- Directed patrols - If you have a request for a specific area with violations that are occurring, please contact the Patrol Division commander
- SMART (Speed Monitoring Awareness Radar Trailer) - The trailer is available for problem areas to give drivers a visual reminder of the speed limit and their vehicle speed; please contact the division commander
