General Needs
    • Photographers
      • Contacts for local photographers to take photos of events and programs
    • Non- Profit Groups looking for volunteers:
    • Fraser Buddies
      • We are looking to expand our programming for special needs! The Buddies group meets to do crafts, play games and socialize! All supplies will be provided by the recreation, we just need someone passionate about special needs to plan and program!
    • Dog meet Up
      • Meet other neighbors who are just as dog-obsessed as you! We are looking for community members to help organize a dog meet up group, to schedule meetups so people and dogs can socialize! Contact us if you are interested in participating or partnering to organize.
    • Volunteer Organizers
      • We are looking for residents who would like to be an active partner in organizing and planning upcoming events! This is the perfect way to meet people with similar interests, spread your creative wings, and build up your community! No need to be shy, we will help every step of the way!   • Seniors
    • Tech Assistance Tuesdays
      • Tuesdays between 1 pm and 4 pm, Starting April 23rd: Register to sign up to be updated when assistance is needed! Time is determined by appointments with seniors, organized by the Activity Center.
      • Need: list of eligible teachers to call upon when assistance is needed. Call 586.296.8483 and talk to Julie to be put on our contact list
    • Halloween Party
      • Tuesday, October 29th doors at 11:45 pm
      • Needs: serving seniors (2), photos (1)
    • Wreath making Workshop
      • Tuesday, November 19th 10 am
      • NEED: Helping distribute supplies and assist with making wreaths (2)
    • Instructors:
      • Looking for instructors to teach hobbies and skills.
  • Recreation
    • Youth Basketball
      • Girls Grades 3-6 – Games Saturday Mornings Starting January, Practices week nights starting in December. 
        Boys Elementary grades 2-3, 4-5 – Games Sundays starting January, Practices week nights starting in December. 
        Middle School Boys Grades 6-8 - Practices begin in January, Games Saturdays starting end of January. 
      • These leagues are focused on fundamental development and light levels of competition. Practices are held at local school gyms on week nights and are parent volunteer coached. Volunteer coach will choose 2 weekdays for practices.  8 games will be scheduled and played at the Roseville Eastpointe Recreation gymnasium located at 18185 Sycamore, Roseville, MI  48066.     • Glow Bike Parade
      • Saturday, October 26th at 6 pm at McKinley Park
      • All ages are invited to bring your bike out to decorate and parade around bike path at McKinley Park! Craft Supplies and glow sticks will be provided, however you are welcome to bring your own supplies. Sign up your family so we can have enough supplies!  Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place bikes. 
      • Need: people to help give out supplies for the decorating (4) and to take photos during the event (2)
    • Fraser Lions Club Children’s Halloween Party
      • Sunday, October 27th 11:30 am or 1:30 pm At the Fraser Lions Club
      • Celebrate with the Lions Club and Fraser Recreation! This party is FREE for residents and non-residents attending Fraser Public Schools. Tickets are required and available at the Fraser Activity Center beginning September 2nd. Limit of 6 per household. Get your tickets before Friday, October 25th!
      • We will need people to help with the setup(3) , craft(3) , face painting(4)  and games (3)
    • Christmas in Fraser
      • Saturday, December 7th Caroling at 5:30, Ceremony at 6pm at Fraser City Hall
      • Join us as we ring in the Holidays at City Hall! We will sing Christmas carols, enjoy refreshments and welcome Santa to Fraser! Smores, Music, Performances and more! All ages are welcome and encouraged. This is a free event. Please dress for the weather.  
      • Need: Helpers for cocoa (4), Photographers (2), Sing-along Carolers (4), Smores Team (4), Craft (4)
  • Parks
    • Park Clean Up
      • Saturday, October 12th from 9 – 12 pm, Rainout Date October 26th At all Fraser Parks
      • Share your love for your hometown and spend some time outdoors at our park cleanup! You have the option of going to your neighborhood park and doing some yard cleanup or meeting at Steffens Park or McKinley Park for some larger projects. Volunteers will be treated to a pizza lunch. 
      • Can’t make it to the Saturday cleanup? Pick up yard waste bags from the Recreation to register to volunteer at the parks between Monday, October 7th – Sunday October 13th! Post your Clean Up Selfies on our Facebook page and we will draw a winner on Monday October 14th!
      • Need: Volunteers for park cleanup
