Wednesdays at 11 am. This twist on the classic Domino game is great fun! Everyone is invited to play in this drop-in program. Don’t know how to play? No worries! We’ll teach you this fun game!

Puzzles and Pie

Valentine Day Hoedown

Tuesday, February 12th, Doors at 11:30 pm

Get ready to YE-HAW for a good ol’ fashioned hoedown! We’ll have a fried chicken lunch, games, activities and of course a quick simple lesson in line dancing that can be done while standing, in a chair or with a walker! Wear your best country garb and get ready for a good time! Cost is $12 members, $15 non-members. Register by February 5th.

Spring Wreath Making

Tigers Opening Day Party

Kentucky Derby Party

Friday, May 3rd, Doors at 11:30 am

Pull out your fanciest hat and derby wear and join our Derby party! We will have a derby-inspired meal of croissant sandwiches, luncheon salads, and a dessert. Matter of  Balance

This is a weekly program and runs for 8 weeks.

Do you have concerns about falling? Join this class presented by the Macomb Area Agency on Aging to learn informational tips, group exercises to increase strength, flexibility and endurance while sharing solutions & positive thinking.  A Matter of Balance is an evidence based program for seniors who want to learn more about preventing falls. Cost is $8.00 for 8 sessions. Don’t miss your chance on this popular program!

Mat Yoga

Yoga helps calm the mind, body, and spirit and also has many health benefits!  Our yoga class is taught by the talented Jasmin! From beginners to advance students, Jasmin’s experience with many different types of people allows her to modify these poses for all abilities! Cost is $65 Resident, $75 non-resident for 7 weeks.

Seniors 55+ Pickleball

Mondays at 10 am – Chair Tai Chi

Meet up with friends and exercise along with these videos that have a fan following! Each session is suitable for the beginner or intermediate exerciser and is designed to increase flexibility, stamina and balance. Drop in fee applies.

Beginners and Intermediate Tai Chi with Instructor John Marchowitz

Mondays beginners at 1pm, Intermediate at 2pm

5 week sessions starting January 7th, February 11th and March 22nd

Find your Zen with this beginning Tai Chi Class with an option to use chair. Tai Chi exercises help to rejuvenate, heal, energize and de-stress; and help those with arthritis, joint pain, back pain and more. Call the center to find the next start date for this class. Cost for 5-week session is $26 for members, $32 for non-members. Drop in fee is $7.

Income Tax Filing prepared by AARP (FREE)

Monday, March 18, 2019 Bus departs 8:00 am.  Tax preparation will be done at the Warren City Hall.  Forms to be filled out for your appointment are available at Fraser Senior Center.  This must be done before you leave for this appointment.  If you are filing jointly with your spouse, information must be filled out for both.  There is a fee for the Van service to take you to & from Warren City Hall $4 Members & $6.00 Non-Members

Little Ceasars Arena Tour

Monday, January 28th , 2019 and Tuesday, February 19th, 2019 Bus leaves at 9am

This will be the trip of the year! Bring a friend and have a great time at this landmark facility. Wear a good pair of walking shoes as this is a 1.5 mile guided tour through the arena. To round out your day we will stop for lunch in the arena at Kid Rock’s Restaurant or the District market. As always, lunch is on your own. Cost is $24 members, $29 non-members.

Little Shop of Horrors Meet & Greet at the Fraser Performing Arts Center

Wednesday, February 6th Bus leaves at 6:15pm

Enjoy sitting in on dress rehearsal at the Fraser Performing Arts Center. Following the show, we will have a meet and greet with our very own Fraser Celebrities where you can ask questions and chat with the cast! The Marvelous Wonderettes

This hit takes you to the 1958 Springfield High School prom where we meet four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts!  As we learn about their lives, the girls serenade us with classic ‘50s hits including "Lollipop," "Dream Lover," "Stupid Cupid," and "Lipstick on Your Collar." When the girls reunite to take the stage and perform at their ten-year reunion, we learn about the past decade's highs and lows. Members $42, Non-Members $47

Tapper Garden

Tuesday, July 9th, 2019 Bus leaves at 9:00 a.m.  Over a decade ago, the inspiration of transforming a rural backyard setting into formal garden began.  Tapper Gardens today is a fully landscaped 3.5 acre sculptural masterpiece.  Enjoy the gardens with your friends on 2019’s SENIOR DAY at Tapper’s.  Cost is $15 Members and $20 Non-Members

Bridge Class

Have you ever wanted to know how to play Bridge, or want to improve your game? Bridge Instructor Chet will be holding classes to pass on this great game! Meetings will be on Wednesdays at 2 pm and cost $30 for a six week class. Class start date to be determined, a minimum of 6 interested persons are needed to start the class so sign up on the waitlist at the Senior office!
