Dead and Diseased Trees
Upon notice from a resident the Department of Public Works (DPW) will remove trees located on the city property (between the sidewalk and the street) if they are diseased and/or dying. After removal, the remaining stumps will be ground out. Replacement of soil and sod is the responsibility of the affected homeowner. The DPW also trims trees located on city property as necessary.
Should tree removal be needed after hours contact the DPW at 586-293-2001 and leave a message, someone will contact you shortly.
